“Traditionally, hotels are all about location, location, location. We wondered what it might look like to create a traveling hotel whose personality can adapt to its surroundings and migrate with the season.
The Barge Hotel would be more than just an accommodation: we’ve added an onboard community performance space where guests can hear a band, see a film, or take a tai chi class. A set of dumpster pools provide recreation, and the vintage trailers can function as in-house lodging for visiting theatre companies.”
